This guitar belonged to Greg Pickler who headed the guitar department at the Sydney Conservatorium of music in the late 20thcentury. He was also a founding member of the Omega quartet what were based in London in the late 60’s and early 70’s.

The guitar has the initials AM stamped on the heal. Antonio Martinez  ( A.M.) is thought by many to be the greatest luthier of the Ramirez golden era, his guitars were used by Andres Segovia, Laurindo Almeida, and Christopher Parkening, they are highly prized and very collectible.

Greg sold this guitar to one of his students who had Teen Goh set up the action and repair a hairline crack on the soundboard and one on the back.
