Andrew Doriean is one of Australia’s up and coming luthiers, specialising in classical guitars he also draws from his experience making fine Flamenco and historical reproduction guitars. His guitars feature a warmth and strength in the lower register, a midrange capable of both darkness and sweetness and a treble which rings clear with a strong fundamental and soaring overtones. He has developed his own plantilla using a geometric process which results in a classic Spanish design. The Cedar top has fan-braced construction with treble bar. The back and sides are highly figured Ziricote. The 650 scale ebony fingerboard features the extra 20th high C fret. The tuners are Alessi and it ships in a carbon fibre flight case.
