This 1975 John (Ben) Hall steel string was made when he was in Wentworth falls as were his neighbors Peter Biffen and Greg Smallman. At this time Julian Bream had invited John to the UK to build guitars on his property after playing John's Lutes. What a great example of 20th-century Australian guitar history. The guitar features mahogany back and sides Spruce top, Schaller tuners and of course John Hall's unique design. I had luthier Darrell Wheeler set up the guitar so it now plays well and has a fine tone.
