1944 was one of my favourite years for Martin guitars. They still retained the pre-war scalloped bracing and build quality but felt light and well balanced due to the ebony neck reinforcement used instead of a metal bar. The nut width is also a very playable 1 11/16”
This guitar features stunning old growth Brazilian rosewood back and sides and Adirondack spruce top.
Currently having a neck rest and set up and should be available in early 2021.
