An outstanding sounding Cedar Ramirez from his best period. The guitar has interesting providence being owned by Sharan Draper of the Australian string quartet's father who was a well know guitar teacher in Melbourne. It is very easy to play, with a lovely neck and easy action, despite the way many of the guitars from this period were set up. The tone is thick yet clear, and has that essential warm, mysterious and moody quality that made Ramirez famous.
The guitar presents well but has had a few repairs over the years, one small (almost invisible from the outside) crack in the back, well-repaired long ago. Lacquer checking and quite a few scratches to the finish. Stamped initials internally are PC (Pedro Contreras Valbuena)
