Joel Sahlstrom 000 custom build
This custom made OOO size Sahlstrom is made with a stunning ancient Sitka wood top (Carbon dated back to 2850 years old), with vintage maple back, sides and neck. The guitar offers an incredibly responsive and powerful sound. The 000 size of the guitar makes it very versatile and extremely easy to play. It excels in subtle finger picking and more vigorous rhythm playing. The guitar has a deep dark resonance that echoes through the entire instrument. This guitar is one of a kind featuring the antique top. Joel Sahlstrom credits his time with Master Luthier James Olson as turning point in his career. Since then, Joel has created guitars that have a comfortable “old friend feeling to them.”
