The Vinaccia dynasty is credited with making the first 6 string guitar in 1776 and developing the Neapolitan mandolin. This guitar has similar body dimensions to a Guadagnini having a 14 ¾” wide Spruce top with some repaired cracks below the bridge. It’s been well set up by Chris Berkov using the original bar frets, the 625mm ebony fingerboard has a 42mm nut and a beautiful Stauffer style headstock. The signed label is in good condition and the guitar ships in the original case.
