In the mid 1960s, Ramirez 111 and Fleta started using cedar soundboards; their lightness giving a warm, responsive tone. Many Great players like Segovia and John Williams moved from their spruce guitars to Cedar. This is one of the finest examples of a Cedar Fleta in outstanding original condition. Not only that, it’s one of the few Fletas featuring Brazilian rosewood back and sides. The tone is warm, balanced with the famous, powerful Fleta projection.
