Eugene was Greg Smallman’s only apprentice. His guitars feature a balsa/carbon lattice braced Cedar top and arched CSA rosewood back and sides. He also made the old-school wooden RV strong cases that Smallman used. This guitar is in excellent original condition, there are a few marks on the cedar soundboard but overall, it’s in great shape with no repairs or refinishing. Philp guitars are very rare due to his untimely passing away in his early 40's. A great opportunity to purchase a wonderful concert guitar and a piece of guitar history in the Smallman style.
